Introducing medical device components that have undergone microfabrication.
At Gamagori Manufacturing Co., Ltd., we have been working on micro-precision machining (using drills and end mills with a diameter of 0.1mm or less) in collaboration with Toyohashi University of Technology and OSG Corporation for about seven years. In the fields of medical devices, communication equipment, and optical devices, as equipment becomes more advanced, there is a growing demand for high precision and miniaturization of parts, leading to an increasing need for micro-machining technology. In "micro-machining," we introduce a medical device component that has 81 holes with a diameter of 0.05mm drilled into one side of an 18-karat gold block with a side length of 1mm.
